The writer's point is that exam-oriented education in China has no impact on the practicality of the ability of students. This is because China has now turned to a more industrialized country. The rate at which technological advancements have taken place in China has raised concern in China such that scholars have now started poking holes on the education system.

Support of the point.

With the exam-oriented education system, very many students read very hard so that they can be able to score highly in their examinations with the aim of getting a better education or even good career opportunities. The reason as to why China opts for exam-oriented examination is because it is very cheap compared to practical education (Chen, 2018). For example, Qinghua University which is the best in China and also among the best in the whole world charges a fee of 1800 dollars which a very cheap rate. This also owes to the fact that the population in China is very high.

What is noteworthy about the support and its effectiveness?

The notable thing about this support is the fact that the system has its flaws. The most notable one is that it cannot bring about critical thinking. This is because there is always a correct answer to an examination question and the mindset for looking for correct answers has always been engrained in the minds of the students. And as a result, there are very many students are not more comfortable since they cannot be able to come up with innovative solutions or even challenge their teachers or textbooks.
