PART 3:
Lecture on Intuitive Intelligence by Jonas Nordstrom, PhD. (Links to an external site.)
1. According to the lecture, what is expert intuition and what type of professionals may use it in their work?
2. Please do the “yes and no signal” exercise from the lecture and:
· Give an example of when you felt a YES signal, and list 4-6 somatic markers attached to that feeling/experience.
· Give an example of when you felt a NO signal, and list 4-6 somatic markers attached to that feeling/experience.
3. Please do the “flip the coin” exercise from the lecture and share your experience with that exercise.
4. How do you think mindfulness/meditation help with intuition?
Note about assignment length: I am not super picky when it comes to assignment length—this because I mainly want to see that you are grasping and understand the concepts; I usually do not have any issues with students writing succinctly and getting their point across.
