Introduction : what is work related Stress?

Work Related Stress (WRS) refers to when a person perceives the work environment in such a way that his or her reaction involves feelings of an inability to cope.

Primary Interventions:

This approach looks at the issue of stress ‘at source, in order to prevent it occurring

Secondary Interventions:

This approach focuses on the employee throughout his or her period with the organization

Tertiary Interventions:

Provision of counselling and employee assistance programmers (EAPs)
