Employees can be able to take care of things that need to be taking care of and still be able to fit work around it. To summarize, working from home will be a great source for employees to do if they choose to do or not.
Risk As a company allowing the employees work from home, will have to make sure that that their manager will make sure that there will be coverage. One risk of allowing employees to work from home would be a risk of coverage and employees will do the work and not slack. Managers and employees need to come together in a safe space to assemble flexible working arrangements that work for everyone, with a real understanding of what is at stake and what is possible (Wiles, #). Flexible working hours will have to be explain between Managers and employees on how it will be set to make sure the company have work coverage when need it. Finally, flexible work hours will have to be set to make sure the work load is covered between managers and employees.
Conclusion Flexible work hours could be an added shift in the work place for employee to work. Allowing flexible work hours can be a hindering of work coverage in the work place if implemented.
