1. Introduction

In order to complete my Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree, I was required to achieve 600 hours of work experience. Jeraisy Riyadh house ,wafa alasiri and Eid Alyahyawi foundation have given me this chance to work there and achieve the required hours needed. I worked with Jeraisy Riyadh house and Alyahyawi foundation in beginning of 2016.I have completed a total of 33 days, giving a total of 359 working hours.I worked with wafa alasiri foundation in summer 2017 for two weeks, giving a total of 154 working hours.

the objective of the program is to gain expernce and knowledge of the practice of engineering and to acquire skills which will be useful for my future employment. The training is a great chance to expose myself to the real world of engineering career.

This report contain my activities that I have contributred to achieve a number of my stated goal. The report contains the description of the companies “how it work” “what services”, follow by my work details that I have contributed.

2. Overview of the company and Foundations

2.1 Jeraisy Riyadh house

Jeraisy Riyadh house (shown in figure 1), More than fifty-five years ago, the businessman Abdul Rahman bin Ali al-Jeraisy founded the Riyadh House Establishment as a seed for what is now known as Jeraisy Group Company. From the very beginning, the main focus was on offering high-quality services and products that mean to satisfy clients and, at the same time, participating in the development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Provide corporate computer services including networking design, recovery, hardware and software installation; provides information technology consulting and outsourcing services; provides software solution including security solutions; develops telecommunication infrastructure

2.1.1 Job description

Interface and troubleshooting fingerprint system. I have worked in two department which are Technical and software department. Each section will indicate and explain the nature and type of work performed.

2.1.1.1Technical department

In the Technical department I learned about installing and troubleshooting finger -print machine. The supervisor took me around to install finger-print machine to some companies and to other place we troubleshooting finger-print machine and fix the problem that companies are facing.

The supervisor had given me a few tasks to do during my period of training in this section, which I enjoyed working with.

2.1.1.2Software department

In the software department I spent my time working and learning about improving the software part for the finger-print system. The Software supervisor had presented a short presentation on how the section works. From that presentation, I had learned to work in group where my part was testing the code and finding bugs and send them to the developer.

Alyahyawi foundation

It was 2007 when Faisal Eid Alyahyawi decided that there was a better way to trade and distribute mobile devices and accessories. Alyahyawi foundation was born. The main focus was on happy customers. Unstoppable service. Our 60 second data transfer service is a perfect example where our customers can have all their data on their new phone in an instant. We also encourage customers to get hands-on with the latest technology.

2.2.1 Job description

I have work as part time job solving technical problems in mobile devices. I worked 6 hours a day.Duties I had are detecting issues, listen to customers’ description of phone problem, running tests, replacing parts, and reporting repairs to managers and manufacturers.

· Discussed with client and documented problems concerning cellphone unit

· Provided troubleshooting and repair estimates for client approval

· Ensured that canter has replacement kits and spare parts for any planned repair and order these from manufacturers as required.

· Opened, disassembled, repaired, replaced parts, and reassembled units when done.

· Tested repaired units and advised clients when they could retrieve their units

2.3 wafa alasiri foundation

 wafa PC is a locally owned and operated private foundation founded in 2010. Future PC is a Microsoft Certified Partner with experienced engineers, dedicated to the success of your systems. We focus on building long-term relationships with all our clients – providing the best technical support

2.3.1 Job description

I worked as full time job for 2 weeks as Computer Technician to install, maintain and repair computers and networks.
