Company                       --        Facebook

Facebook, Inc. develops products that enable people to connect and share with friends and family through mobile devices, personal computers, virtual reality headsets, and in-home devices worldwide (S&P Capital IQ, 2021). The services and products from the company include Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Oculus VR. Facebook and its services are trusted worldwide, with billions of daily users using them in various aspects of their lives. The privacy of users is always a concern with companies like Facebook that use user data for monetization. The Facebook data privacy scandal centers around the collection of personally identifiable information of "up to 87 million people" by the political consulting and strategic communication firm Cambridge Analytica (Patterson, 2020). The company used Facebook to access the user profiles when they added a personality quiz through their FB profiles. The information gathered was used to heavily influence the 2016 elections in favor of a presidential candidate. In this case, the major drivers of unethical business behavior are the Faulty oversight and the overall company culture that put profitability ahead of user privacy. Driven by greed and ambition, they exhibit few qualms in skirting the rules or doing whatever is necessary to achieve their goals. A general disregard for business ethics can prompt all kinds of unethical strategic maneuvers and behaviors at companies (Thompson et al., 2021). The costs incurred to the company are mostly indirect compared to the measly fines laid out by the legislature. The scandal has brought the lack of oversight for user privacy into the limelight that regular people are unaware of until that point. People lost their trust and also made regulators look into the business practices at Facebook. The recommendations for the company to improve their ethical practices and regain the trust of people would be

· Make it easy for users to understand the data being collected and used rather than hiding it, which is difficult to access.

· External oversight board independent of company's business operations that need to part of major decisions.

Volkswagen is the world-leading vehicle manufacturers in Europe. Volkswagen was located in Wolfburg, Germany also both held over 342,000 employees that ready to develop up over 21,500 vehicles per day. Volkswagen's production sections are placed into Europe, America, Africa, also Asia. The Volkswagen Company follows a well-built profit extension across these past five years. The current motto, "Think Blue," agreement that Volkswagen will also offer eco-friendly goods, not a business, also offer the world trade performance (Strain, 2019). It specifies that Volkswagen will create more active on sustainability and energy toward the company and also the product.

The governor declared that from April 2014 to May 2015, Volkswagen issued more than $13 billion had fined, including contracts in the U.S. markets "at a point while superior managers identified that more than 500,000 vehicles into the U.S. grossly exceeded authorized vehicle discharges purposes." With covering these production schemes, "Volkswagen received hundreds of millions of dollars into profit with declaring the contracts at more attractive prices for the business," and also the fine is continued. In 2015, the organization accepted cheating productions inspections about 11 million vehicles crossed the globe. VW recognized the difficulties from its vehicles. Since it is popular during expanding scandals, including the reputation disaster that brings them, alternately from replying ethically, management engaged in rash decision-making. It starts to allow vehicles to move under superior level, which held the transmissions to reach the types from emissions. This defeat device afforded more excellent possibilities as Volkswagen to deceive ethical, including legal obligations as discharges by their electrical including diesel vehicles remaining designed. This technology permitted Volkswagen to achieve a developing reputation which deceived bot controls also buyers by its applications. Technology can support organizations such as Volkswagen to produce progress by their results. However, it can produce critical ethical scandals such as the suspension fraud practicing in place. (Thompson, Peteraf, Gamble, & Strickland, 2020). Meanwhile, Volkswagen required to support ethics, including sustainability, suddenly they arrested in the act of changing that discharges testing by their "defeat device", it is working to remain extremely difficult to retrieve from this ethical failure. While it requires like this are also created customers and controls, to get out the authenticity, it presents an irresponsible reputation. Volkswagen can attempt to profit from that ethical failure by handling these crime fines, corrupting back consumers' vehicles, changing specific future results, also controls the trial toward the vehicles by more reliable controls, including micro-management. If Volkswagen continued to fix their mistake and pay to the buyers' vehicles and present them with a financial agreement to agree upon their unethical determinations by their products, it forces them to get some faith back from the customers, including some governors. Volkswagen becomes a long way ahead of them by an aggregation about businesses to profit from this ethical failure all produced against themselves.

Specific risks, including costs connected by those examples from unethical behavior emerging of the company's business ethics failure, hold large in dollars.

High uncertainty of managing the market the opportunity from failure seriously damaged the company's brand also model. Reduced productivity. Developed misbehavior also conflicts internally. Decreased production levels from workers.

Ethical Principle:

Volkswagen has its ethical principle, is Group Code of Conduct. It supports complying with current practices, including management, including allowing leadership, guidance, and support in daily work circumstances, including decision-making. The focus continues on the reliability of every individual employee to comply with the practices from ethical conduct.
