Assignment #1 - TIMELINE
1. Timeline of Significant Events - Women in Sport (100 Points)
Using the follow articles or information from any other source, you are going to create a timeline of events (15-20 significant events) for women in sport. Please feel free to add in anything that is specific to your sport that you coach or are involved with. Use some (1-2) details as you explain the significant points on your time line, give us some background regarding each date.

EXAMPLE:
· Date: June 1972 (only the month and year are necessary)
· Event: Title IX Becomes Law
· Description: A comprehensive federal law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity.
You can go back as far as you'd like historically, as well as reflect on more recent events. I would really like to see a wider gamut.
