There is much talk about how "everything has changed" due to technology, social developments, and so forth. One of our resources addresses this dynamic as you consider how you, as a senior leader, will lead well for those who have grown up in circumstances dramatically different from your own. Yet we also understand that human nature fundamentally remains as created by God, placed on Earth, and distorted by sin. Our second resource addresses some truths flowing from this commonality among all humans in all times. An excellent leader will never forget the overwhelming continuity, first, of God, and second of human nature. A deep understanding and application of these unchanging truths will go far to enhance your leadership!
By the end of this lesson module, you should be ready to identify, understand, engage, and apply the following:
· Choose and research three dynamics that reflect the changing face of leadership
· Choose and research three dynamics that reflect the continuity of God, Creation, human nature, and leadership.
THIS WEEK’S ASSIGNMENT
This Collaborate session will be an overall discussion of the course as a whole. Each student should be prepared to present key personal learnings in a five-minute time frame, to be followed by general discussion.
Those not able to attend must submit a 1,000-word paper addressing this week's Learning Goals.
