The researchers conducted a literature review on articles from PubMed search, Psych-info, sociological abstracts, and criminology. The article is associated with our study since it discusses murder just like in the case study. According to the study, there are a number of clinical features that should alert mental healthcare givers to be suspicious of the risk of potential murder-suicide. A risk assessment should involve identifying if one has the potential of being involved in suicide or homicide.

The researchers conducted a literature review on how the criminal justice system respond to women who kill in response to domestic violence. This article is related to my research since it involves a woman who had killed her boyfriend and claimed that it was out of self-defense. According to the findings of the research, the law requires the judges to consider the mitigating factors and criminal conduct involved.

The researchers used a prospective analysis of officially recorded data in combination with criminal cases in five jurisdictions. This study is related to my case study since it has conducted research in homicide which is the case being covered in our case study. According to the article, there are many homicide cases. It as well explained that in order for a homicide case to be effectively solved it requires a minimum of three to four detectives.

Given that the case study being reviewed in our case study is about domestic homicide this study is essential since it identifies the risk factors in domestic homicide to find out if their prevalence can show maximized risk of homicide. The research analyzed a number of homicide cases and found out that the majority of domestic homicide is as a result of emotional instability such as due to depression.

The researchers conducted a research on homicide in the United States, the used literature review and case studies. The research majored on an investigation that is ongoing and live and not historical of popularly described as cold case reviews though the principles can be ascribed to both. The findings of this research are relevant to my case study since it involves homicide and this research reviews homicide cases in the United Kingdom.
