As social media changes the ability of fans to connect all over the world instantaneously in order to share game scores, fantasy football teams, and predictions of who will win, without ever attending a game, how might this affect revenue streams, for better or worse? How might large corporations that are now purchasing naming rights from stadiums and other facilities as well as the sport organizations themselves make best use of this investment as the sport industry evolves? This week, you explore strategies a sports league or team is utilizing to generate revenue and capitalize on trends.
