It is important to ensure that the key measures that are put in place regarding information safety is based on critical understanding on of important data that is utilized within the company from different department. A data silo is a repository of a fixed data that largely remains under the control of one department. Therefore, the department in improving the company productivity mainly uses information within data silo (Lindh & Ekman, 2016).

Sales Sales includes important information about the company’s sales across all of its products on the market. The company offers variety of products in the market and thus there is need to have a clear understanding on company development.

Sales data is collected by sales department and is used to help in understanding important processes within organizational setting.
