Wk 4 - Analysis of Interpersonal Groups

During weeks 2-7 you will participate in an Interpersonal Group in Bongo. After each interpersonal group students will write an analysis. The purpose of keeping an analysis of your experience is to foster an awareness and integration of principle concepts related to group theory and leadership skills. Your analysis will require that you remain objective about the group in which you are participating, just as group leaders must maintain objectivity. This assignment will be graded on your ability to identify group leadership concepts that have been addressed in textbook and handouts as they apply to your group. The analysis should clearly communicate how your group was unique as it developed over time.

Write a 750-1000 words analysis of your interpersonal group

Possible areas to focus on in future analyses include:

I believe that this week that the change in the relationship have grown scientifically due to them identifying five events that have happened in their lives that had an impact on who they are today. Which each one share shared personal information which was very emotional.

2. How do members interact with the facilitator? As in last week’s group there was no facilitator chosen, however each member looked at Dorothea to start the group off.

4. What power issues are present in the group? As last group session there were no real issues present, only that time allotted for each question.

5. How is conflict addressed or avoided? As in last week’s group session there were no conflicts to address. The group members respected each other time to speak and asked appropriate questions, so there was no conflict to avoid.
