Assignment: Final Project Milestone 2

Art and Culture would be the museum’s most important permanent exhibit. It is worth noting that there is increasing globalization and the city has not been left behind in terms of hosting people drawn from different cultures across the globe. There are different races including Whites, African-Americans, and Latinos who all need to coexist. Thus, the emphasis on art and cultural diversity will be about making individuals understand that everyone is unique and they need to be respected (Sturge, 2014). More so, there will be emphasis on the significant role that arts have played in shaping the cultural integration of the people in the city. The many ethnic communities within the city will have an opportunity to come out and display the unique elements of their culture hence leading to not only enjoyment, but the co-existence of everyone in the city.

Objects, themes, and ideas will be used to represent the citizens who make up the city. Thus, a key object that will be used to represent the citizens of the city will be the artworks and cultural artifacts that illustrate the origin of the different ethnic communities (Perkins, 2018). Ancient artworks will be brought to light as key objects that speak about the different communities and their origin. Everyone would be proud to go to the museum to learn about their ancient artworks and their origin. The theme that will be emphasized through the museum would be that of humanity amidst the existing diversity (Perkins, 2018). This means that as much as people are drawn from different races, they are all drawn from the human race and have similar capabilities. The ideas that will be used will relate to the significance of cultural integration to boost quality living among everyone in the city. The idea would be that no matter how small the space is, everyone can fit in with love for another regardless of the race or ethnic orientation.
