Identify three ways in which organizations such as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and/or the National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC) work to impact quality childcare and education positively. Describe one way that individual early childhood professionals can also work to change the lives of young children and their families positively.
Quality of care among children is an important aspect in the day to day activities of a child. It is therefore important to have a focus on the various way in which an organization can work to make sure that the lives of children are impacted positively. The three ways in which organization can impact on the quality of care offered to the child include, the employment and offering support to the teaching staff who are qualified, having an environment that is safe with a physical environment. The third way is the implementation of strong programs that are related to the management of policies that lead to a rise in services that are of high quality.
The children that a professional is teaching will benefit as much as we teach them. Therefore, teachers should be in a capacity of having the full knowledge and having an understanding of the right way of correcting the child and using the right standards for teaching children who have disabilities.
Schools have a definite role in the socialization process. Explain the difference between the concepts of cultural assimilation and cultural pluralism. Why is the concept of bilingual/multicultural education an example of cultural pluralism?
Cultural assimilation refers to when a minority culture or an individual adapt to the culture of a dominant group which alters the original culture in some way which in turn makes them lose a trace of their way in terms of who they are (Schachner, 2016). On the other hand, cultural pluralism refers to where the culture of the small is able to learn about a big culture, but this does not alter their cultural identity that is unique.
Multicultural or bilingual education refers to a system whereby children who are from a minority group of ethnicity are taught using the native language to give them a better understanding. It is referred to a cultural pluralism due to the fact that their culture still remains intact by appreciating and promoting their language by trying to teach them about their culture.

The role of a classroom teacher is to make sure that children with disabilities are accorded the right education. They are mandated to make sure that each child has an individualized IEP(Zirkel, 2017). This is a document with the specifics of accommodation and the medical issues related to the child with the disability and helping them adapt in a particular setting.
There are various key responsibilities that an early childhood educator should perform. They include finding coming up with new experiences to share with the children, encouraging students to look for their own answers instead of providing them with the answers. It is their role to nurture and nourish the children by providing them with the materials they do find engaging.
