Writing an Article Reflection:
For the most part, a reflection paper records thoughts, reactions, feelings and analysis of an experience in a more personal way than in a formal research/analytical essay. When writing an article reflection, the point is to include your thoughts and reactions to the reading or experience. You can present your feelings on what you read and explain them. You also can use a reflection paper to analyze what you have read.
· Like any other piece of writing, it should be well-written.
· It should also refer directly to the specific passage or quote in the material that inspired this feeling.
· You can include personal experience in a reflection paper, but base your reactions and reflections on the material in the article or reading you have selected.
· Have a clear point of focus, don't get caught up in mere rambling. Also, an article reflection should not be a free flow of ideas and thoughts.
· The idea of an article reflection is to write a piece describing your reactions and analysis to a reading or other experience; however, it is more formal than a journal entry, so use a mix of formal and informal language.
Select one of the articles you were provided with for this week and write a brief summary and reflection (minimum of 500 words).
