I agree that an organization's only sustainable competitive advantage is its relationships with its customers. All other advantages eventually erode. Information systems play a role in maintaining the organization's relationship with its customers by providing a way to track customer interactions, preferences, and purchase history. This information can customize the customer experience and offer targeted promotions. Additionally, information systems can be used to create a loyalty program that rewards customers for their continued business. Information systems can play a role in maintaining the organization's relationship with its customers by allowing them to access their account information, view their purchase history, and track their loyalty points.
Information systems can also help organizations keep track of customer feedback and complaints. Information systems can play a role in maintaining the organization's relationship with its customers by providing them with information about the organization's products and services and providing customer support by helping to automate and streamline customer-facing processes such as order processing and customer service (Teece, 2018). Additionally, information systems can help the organization track customer orders and preferences and customize its products and services to meet customer needs better. Moreover, the use of Customer relationship management, or CRM, to manage relationships with customers plays a role in maintaining the organization's relationship with its customers because these relationships determine whether a business succeeds or fails (Tan, 2019

Hello Class,
The capacity to consistently beat all rivals in each field or business is known as a sustainable competitive advantage. Every advantage a business achieves tends to be imitated by another at some point in the future. I agree that for an organization to sustain a competitive advantage is by how well they treat their customers but its not the only advantage. The key to gaining any advantage is the organization and use of all business resources, which ultimately comes down to how well managers and employees perform. Even the relationships with customers are included in this, along with performance. No business will ever have a sustained competitive edge without the support of the customers. The role that information systems can play in maintaining the organization’s relationship depends on the type of business. If the business is an internet provider, then the role is very important to maintain quality of service. Also, businesses can maintain databases to provide better customer service by recording information in the form of notes, so the next representative doesn’t make the customer repeat themselves.
