Conditions to Activate self-system
-A student will determine how important the information is to be learned. That will determine there attention to learn.
-A student needs to know they have the ability to be successful. With the efficacy being based on pass experience.
-positive emotions can help shape the child`s motivation to learn.
*Gaining the child`s trust and motivating them will help them determine if they are willing to try and get the assignment done
Activities that can be used to motivate students
-Assign Classroom jobs-These jobs can cater to their interests and skills.
-Incentive Program-If the kids come all week and behave they can choose a activity to do on Fridays
-Plan a Dream field Trip-Make the goal to do a big trip at the end of the semester. Give them something to look forward to.
