I have identified and secured the participation of the following academic (at least two) and professional (at least two) individuals and/or teams to form the basis of my network. This network will help me to clarify my vision for success and will help guide me now and in the future.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:

Notes: I selected Renee because She is my progress coach, and I will need her emotional support. She oriented me and was very knowledgeable about navigating through canvas. Emotional Support is critical. Having someone who can offer emotional support, especially during difficult times. She can lend me an ear to listen, empathize with my difficulties, and encourage me to persevere. She will check in on my progress and remind me to keep focused.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:

Notes: I selected Matthew because as an advisor, I believe he would be a good source when choosing my next courses. He will help with class registration, schedules, and deadlines. He will help me decide what classes is best to take together and what is not a good fit. Mathew will hold me responsible for my academic progress by sharing My goals with him.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:

Notes: I selected Robert because He is a colleague of mine. Robert is a graduate of Walden University. Robert recommended Walden to me and spoke highly of Walden. Robert became a Nurse practitioner in Psychiatry. When he found out I was heading in this field, He offered to be a mentor. Robert can help review My assignments, articles, or research work. His comments might assist Me in identifying areas for development.

Why I selected this individual and/or team and how they will support my success in the MSN program and as a practicing nurse:

Notes: I selected Heather because Heather will be a mentor. She is a colleague of mine. We are both Psych Nurses, and she will also be attending Walden hopefully next semester. Heather and I discussed studying and reaching out to one another as needed to stay on top of assignments. Heather will motivate and inspire me to stay focused. I may experience periods of self-doubt or lose motivation. Having someone who can remind Me of My strengths and cheer Me on.
