Summary of strengths:

I learned how to recognize the difference between psychopathological and pathophysiological situations during my practice. I'm also good at doing and figuring out mental assessments and telling the difference between changes in the body and changes in the mind. I can also teach people how to stay healthy and avoid getting sick by using my best speaking skills. This has helped me deal with patients well while staying true to my professional ethics, setting limits, and building healing relationships with both patients and staff. I can also work with the diverse team to make healthcare better. I can correctly identify people and judge their chances of getting better. I can also correctly read the results of screening tools to pick the best medicine. Setting SMART goals that can be reached is my other skill. I can teach guardians and clients about psychology. Lastly, I can name the clinical signs of any mental illness.

Opportunities for growth:

Despite the challenges presented by my practicum and the complexity of diagnosing mental health conditions, there is still room for improvement and perfection on my part. By analyzing and interpreting the patient's diagnostic study and physical examination to determine the optimal treatment, I can make progress. I am in need of enhancing my proficiency in conducting and interpreting functional assessments related to social, occupational, and daily living activities. Despite having assisted patients with mental health issues, I believe I still require further instruction on screening devices and evaluating results.

Now, write three to four (3–4) possible goals and objectives for this practicum experience. Ensure that they follow the SMART Strategy, as described in the Learning Resources.
