Opportunities for growth:
|
• There is an opportunity for improving skills in autonomously recognizing clinical criteria and manifestations of mental disease. • Enhanced capacity to independently differentiate clinical and psychological disorders based on their underlying mechanisms. • Continuous enhancements have been made to the DSM 5-TR diagnostic formulation process based on assessment data. • Ongoing enhancement of diagnostic reasoning skills, specifically in optimizing a comprehensive differential diagnosis list. |
Now, write three to four (3–4) possible goals and objectives for this practicum experience. Ensure that they follow the SMART Strategy, as described in the Learning Resources.
|
Goal: An opportunity exists to enhance proficiency in independently identifying clinical indications and symptoms of psychiatric disease. 1. Objective: a. Purpose: Independently identify and assess clinical signs and markers of mental disorders in diverse scenarios. 2. Objective: Exhibit competence in distinguishing between pathophysiological and psychopathological diagnoses independently. 3. Objective: Conduct and analyze a thorough medical history and physical examination autonomously.
Goal: Enhance Proficiency in Diagnostic Interpretation and Formulation 1. Objective: To prioritize and create a thorough and precise list of differential diagnoses for distinct mental disorders. 2. Objective: Develop diagnoses using DSM 5-TR by analyzing assessment data with respect to growing independence. 3. Objective: Improve the capacity to distinguish between typical and atypical age-related physiological and psychological symptoms autonomously.
Goal: Building Reflective and Documentation Proficiency 1. Objective:. Consistently establish and record SMART objectives for practicum experiences. 2. Objective: Assess the results of practicum objectives and adjust plans as needed by reflective practice. 3. Objective: Improve documentation skills by regularly recording and carefully considering learning events. |
