Will use the following format:

1. Title page – include the title of your paper, your name, the course name, name of the instructor and date. The title must be succinct and limited to 75 characters.

2. An abstract of 200 words.

3. Main Text- The text of the article should be no fewer than 2000 words and is limited to 2400 words. All references should be properly cited using APA style (in-text and reference page). Use APA format for report (title page, headers, subheaders, etc.). The IMRaD format will be used. Introduction– Indicate what you are studying, its medical or policy importance, and what your paper will add. Include a succinct but thorough review of the literature. You should include your major research questions or hypotheses in this section. Methods section- In this section you should describe the data you will use as well as your methods, and why these methods are appropriate for your research questions. Specify the overall theoretical framework that shapes your research. Results- Describe results clearly. If a literature review is only done, consider having it in that section. Comparisons to other research are not presented here but are reserved for the Discussion section. Supportive tables or figures should be referenced sequentially in text and grouped at the end of the paper. Discussion- The Discussion section will review results and compare them to prior literature and hypotheses, address any limitations of the design, and present conclusions for policy or medical audiences.

4. References- A minimum of 25 references must be used. Your references should consist primarily of peer-reviewed journal articles. References can include material from the Internet if from a reputable source. Wikipedia is not a reputable source. Reputable sources include government agencies and professional organizations, for data and policy statements. Citations should be presented in APA format. The Word “footnote” function can be used to accomplish this if you do not have EndNote. Tables/graphs should immediately follow the references.
