Respond to the questions below in a 3 pages Word document.
1- Why did DTGOV add dynamic scaling to the infrastructure?
3- Why did DTGOV choose dynamic scaling?
First question:
I would discuss all the different types of dynamic scaling (a-c below) and how the automated scaling listener is configured with workload thresholds? Discuss Dynamic allocation?
The big thing is relating all of that information back to why did DTGOV add this to their infrastructure… because it had all these important areas (a-c, d-F, workload thresholds, Dynamic allocation..just are a few).
1. Dynamic Horizontal
2. Dynamic Vertical
3. Dynamic Relocation
In addition, you can discuss- Cloud architecture for Dynamic Scalability (pg 264)
1. Cloud usage monitor?
2. Hypervisor?
3. Pay-per-use monitor?
Third Question:
For question three I would choose one or two of the different Architectures listed above (1-8 are a few examples) and discuss why Dynamic Scaling Architecture found on page 262 was added versus these other ones.
More clarification on how I think the questions should be worded:
First question is explain why they added it because of all the awesome areas dynamic scaling does and the second question should be worded as why did they choose dynamic scaling over the other architecture’s?
