This is where you write your SMART goals for the quarter and state the reasons you want to pursue them.  These goals should be linked to your career aspirations and can be personal and/or professional in nature.  You should outline your plan for achieving the goals and provide a realistic timeline for completion.

For example:

Goal:

'Specific' (S) - I will research and understand what specific competencies or skills potential employers need from a graduate in my chosen field.

'Measurable' (M) - I will show evidence of my research (answers to the questions).

'Attainable' (A) - I will use web-sites, speak to key people and look at advertisements for my role to get this information.

'Relevant' (R)- this is directly relevant to my future career.

'Time-bound' (T) - I will complete this task by Monday  June the 3rd (Week 10).

The number of goals you choose depends on your priorities but should be limited to 1 or 2 - remember to see if the goal is realistic by using the SMART approach.  If it is not, do not choose it!
