Happy Saturday, everyone! Essay 1: Summary-Critique, is due tomorrow, 7/28, by 11:59 pm. Here are some important tips and reminders:

· I created a video on introducing, integrating, and using parenthetical citation for sources. It should be very helpful for your essay, so please check it out.

· Remember that you can use the MLA Template to type into. Also remember that all the works you could choose from are already cited for you. Just select the correct one from the Works Cited list and make it the last page of your essay. The Works Cited should be on a page by itself and the last page of your essay. An essay without a Work Cited page must receive a 0.

· Remember to use the Sample Summary-Critique and the video walk-through to help you along the way.

· Make sure you address audience appeals (pathos, ethos, and logos) in your essay.

· Remember to use third person perspective in your essay rather than first or second person (there are a few exceptions).
