Background:
Definition: There is not a set definition for ‘Christmas Film’ so the best way to describe this genre is to look at its values- Family, helping others, fellowship, etc. (Saporito, 2015)
Personal: I am an avid Die Hard fan, watching the film consistently as a Christmas film for years. Also, as an adult who has experienced more than 30 American Christmas seasons, I qualify as a veteran of Christmas.
Proposition Statement: When stacked up against all other films, it is undeniable that Die Hard is one of the most unique and exciting Christmas films of all time, prove me wrong.
