2) Brainstorm: What are your strengths? What are you insecurities? What is you Passion? Purpose?
3) What do you want to reflect on? Share? Explain? Begin thinking about the purpose for your writing.
4) Have your photo taken.
Requirements:
1) An Introduction with a hook, bridge and thesis
-All pieces of evidence (supporting details) should tie back to the thesis.
2) Evidence from at least three sources- Use evidence related to your topic from the library reference database or on-line sources.
1) Three direct quote with in-text citations.
2) A minimum of three paraphrased quote with in-text citations.
· Log on to the computer and enter the TCC database to find credible information related to the topic.
· Read.
· As you find information related to your topic, take notes, jot down ideas, and consider source credibility.
· Decide what information fits with your topic or subtopics. Ask yourself: How will it structurally work to create detail and credibility in my essay?
· From your research, create fences for your information- what pieces of information go together? Think main ideas.
3) Five paragraphs, minimum
4) MLA Format with a Works Cited page
5) Figurative language and varied sentence structure
6) Your picture on at least an 8x10 piece of paper or created as a photo
7) Go to the WTC for 5 extra credit points
