What a Workbook!

Description: You will create a math workbook that teaches how to solve application problems related to systems of equations and factoring polynomials. This workbook can be made in a variety of ways such as using the design tools in Word, Microsoft Publisher, PowerPoint or it could done as a blog or website. It is up to you to decide which approach works for you.

Requirements:

1. Three different application problems involving setting up and solving a system of equations.

2. Three different application problems involving setting up and solving an equation using factoring of polynomials.

a. Geometric

b. Pythagorean Theorem

c. Consecutive Integers

3. One problem per page.

a. Clear Problem Statement

b. Step by Step solution to problem

c. Clear and detailed explanation of how solution was arrived at.

d. Visual appeal

4. A title page that includes

a. Name of workbook

b. Name of author

c. Name of class
