Eportfolio: post at least one (it may mean more than one depending upon the nine PLO’s) redesign lesson plan (you can use one you have already completed in the course and make any changes on it, based upon previous feedback, in order to improve it.) Highlighting the changes and listing the PLO would be very useful.
Make sure your eportfolio is neat and organized (remember, in the “old days” when you had your work in a folder to show your parents on Open House. The art work looked appealing) Make sure to include a useable link to your eportfolio. If a link that does not work is posted, or no link, a grade of zero will be given for this part of the assignment. Posting in the discussion posts are for draft purposed only and will NOT be considered for grading in the course’s final assignment.
Final Paper: (submitted to Waypoint) 2-3 pages
Introduction- ½ page- explain what you are doing and how your redesigns contain PLO changes as well as why this is important. (How does this show a paradigm “shift” to Common Core) Include a link to your eportfolio.
(next 2-3 pages- one paragraph per PLO)
1. Rank the nine PLOs in order of importance FOR YOU!!!
a. Tell why it has that ranking (there is no “right” answer, you just need to justify it. Using support from the literature is a good idea!)
b. What is its value to you? (your environment and position)
c. How do you use it in your work setting? if you don’t use it, how might you in the future
Conclusion- ½ page Explain the Challenges/Solutions in your redesigns for this class. What did you learn about change? flexibility? Thinking out of the box? Differentiation? Technology? Collaboration? Etc.
