This article was very interesting and informative. It basically is a guideline on how to create a perfect poser of your research proposal. Within the article, we are told to:

· focus only on the study findings

· use graphics

· don't clutter things together/leave "white space"

· avoid junk or any unnecessary or anything unrelated to the study

· choose appropriate colors

· make sure everything is symmetrical

· include contact details

Only to touch on a few of the bullets mentioned above- something that may catch a person's attention is the title. Limit sentences to a minimum. If the poster has the attention of a person, they will be intrigued and ask more questions. Make sure the presentation of the research proposal is well organized and includes a graphic in the top left corner and right bottom corner as well.

Overall, this reading gave helpful tips on completing the perfect poster that will help the researcher catch attention and get their purpose and point across.

After reading the article, I have checked with the American psychological association and discovered several characteristics of a successful manuscript. One it has to have clear topics, subtopics and also an abstract. The second is to have a clear research question based on factual data. A capturing introduction with a clear thesis statement is an important part for introducing the work. A clear, precise and conclusive literature review is an essential for discovering previous works on the topic. The methodology should be sufficient with valid and reliable data to accompany the claims being postulated. Clear statistical analysis and techniques need to be covered to ensure that the research is efficient and highly acceptable in the academic world. This is a major step for accomplishing an outstanding research work. Conceptualization of style and choice of words are important for the manuscript to be peer reviewed. The main substantive aspect of a manuscript is the peer review to ensure that the work has been detailed and acceptable.
