This is Kamal Marely and currently working as a project lead pertaining to system administration.

The most recent web security issuse which i had faced is regarding a mail from the bank requesting to provide certain private information as an u

pdate of my account. But i couldnt respond to it as being busy, so on my way to office i had directly been to the bank in person. then i came to know as it was a pishing mail which is exactly same as that from the bank.

I personally didn't face any web security issue but I happen to know an incident where my father got into it. When my father was using computer and learning to use browsing Email he saw an email stating that his bank card was blocked and need to respond immediately with the personal details. Initially he got panicked and opened the link and start ti fill the details but he was unable to submit them but he saw pop-up at the bottom that they can call back if contact is provided so they can resolve the issue asap. He even gave the phone number and he received a call but he got initial suspicion when he saw weird incoming number which is not our country code. He then immediately called me and looped me in conference, Initially I took some time to divert them by not providing the contact and then I cal;led the bank service reporting the email and Wed address and they made sure that the details were not misused and details were flagged for any usage. It was an eye opening for us to check the emails and calls when we check or answer. So, please be aware before sharing our details to any other third party or unknown person.

My employer works in compliance with the laws and regulations in each country into which the company ships their products. Our products are designed and tested to meet the appropriate worldwide standards for Product Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Ergonomics, and other regulatory compulsory requirements when used for their intended purpose. If my employer fails to follow these requirements, and if an incident occurs which leads to undesirable results, then they can be sued by the consumers or the govt as well. My employer has lots safe checks installed, and provides training to all its employees related to their field of work. This ensures everyone is following the high standards set up by the organization.
