Q1. Read the below paragraph and write what you think about it. If possible give any real example. You can ask the questions if any.

Goals, expectations, and standards are connected well to the concept of encourage the heart. According to the textbook, encourage the heart is about recognizing contributions by showing appreciation for individual excellence and celebrating the values and victories by creating a spirit of community. A good leader knows how to appreciate their team members and recognize well their efforts and contributions to the organization.

During this process, team members and the leader remind themselves that their goals are going in the right direction, they check if their expectations can meet the goals, and they set up the standard based on their expectations.

If standards are too low, our expectations go also low, and in turn our goals are not desirable at the end. So, we should keep in mind that we set up the higher standard in the first place to get a better outcome.

Q2. Read the below paragraph and write what you think about it. If possible give any real example. You can ask the questions if any.

Personal involvement in leadership is all about a leader showing actions towards their workers by creating a relationship with through not only their words but their actions. It is one thing for a leader to say what he wants to do or what he wants to achieve, but when a leader is actually on the ground floor seeing what his workers see then that is something else. This is why the phrase "Actions speak louder than words" comes to mind because someone can talk the big talk but if you want to prove to people that you mean it then do it!

A way that a leader can prove that is by getting his hands dirty. If it means that you have to go to the fields and pick strawberries so that you can see what makes a leader jam so sweet. Or putting on a hair net a lab coat to go down to the bottom floor to package up the products. That is what would show the people involved that you care because you’re doing something. You’re not sitting behind your desk in a comfy chair with A/C. Instead you are living the life good or bad with them.
