Instructions

For this optional activity, you will create a video in the form of a narrated presentation in which you consider project feasibility and ethics within the context of the research focus you proposed in EDR-8200, the scholarly literature you have examined, and what you learned from the CITI modules. Potential points of discussion include:

• How does your intended study population affect feasibility? • How will ethics considerations affect sampling/participant selection? • Are there potential coercive relationships involved? • Does the study have a favorable benefits-to-risk ratio? • How will you ensure respect for research participants? • How will you provide for assent and/or informed consent? • What steps/precautions can you take to minimize risk?
