I. Introduction

A) Attention-grabbing statement: Research indicates that 97% of employees prefer working remotely either part or full-time, but many organizations are still not equipped with the right tools to facilitate effective remote collaboration (Chinyuku, 1, p.136).

B) Purpose of the speech: To convince leadership of the value of adopting Microsoft Teams as our company's primary communication solution for working remotely.

C) Preview the Main Points of the Body:

1. Main point 1: Microsoft Teams improves real-time communication and staff engagement.

2. Main point 2: Microsoft teams enhance the productivity of employees to a great extent.

3. Main point 3: Microsoft Teams is a platform that has strong integration and security features.

II. Body

1. Main point #1: Microsoft Teams enhances communication and engagement for remote teams.

a. Supporting detail: With Microsoft Teams, organizations can keep running securely whether everyone is in the same office or located around the world. (Centric Consulting, n.d., para 1).

b. Supporting detail: When employees do not have a formal communication system in place, the team's cohesion decreases over time by 30% (Chinyuku, 1, 142).

c. Supporting detail: Microsoft Teams supports real-time collaboration and reduces delays and maximizes decision-making in teams.

2. Main point #2: Microsoft Teams directly improves employee productivity.

a. Supporting detail: According to  a study by Forrester, there was a 291 percent ROI and net benefit value of over $35m dollars using Microsoft Teams for business. In one example, Forrester found that employee efficiency — without Copilot — saved companies $19.6m in three years.

b. Supporting detail: Whether it’s a one-on-one video call with a customer or a video meeting with several people in your workplace, Teams can support it. (Centric Consulting, n.d., para 3).

c. Supporting detail: The analytics tools available in the platform help organizations identify areas for improvement and optimize engagement strategies.

3. Main point #3: Microsoft Teams offers solid integration and enterprise-level security.

a. Supporting detail: Offering virtual capabilities like Teams’ chat messaging will help improve morale and keep your team engaged with work and those around them. (Centric Consulting, n.d., para 8).

b. Supporting detail: Data protection features include data encryption, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access control, which are all designed to safeguard organizational data.

c. Supporting detail: Scalability ensures that it accommodates teams of different sizes, and hence, making it a long-term investment.

III. Conclusion

A) Review the Main Points of the Body:

2. Main point 2: Improves employee productivity.

3. Main point 3: It provides secure, scalable, and integrated collaboration.

B) Restate the purpose of the speech: Microsoft Teams is the solution that is most practical and evidence-based for our organization's remote work collaboration issues.

C) Memorable Closing Statement: Distance should never be an issue with our teams. An investment in Microsoft Teams is an investment in connection, productivity and the future of our organization.
