Part 1

You will be proving IT service recommendation for GoldStar Bank. The bank is helping companies to do transaction for the customers who holds their credit card (GoldStar Bank Credit Card). Please consider the following parameters:

· The Bank has one Data Center where it keeps all customer data transactions.

· GoldStar Bank Data Center in a building in NYC, there are five floors.

· Each floor there are 25 Desktop computers and 15 laptop computers with WiFi. Each floor has only one printer.

· GoldStar Bank has only one building in NYC where all employee computers are connected to each other and the main database via INTRANET.

· GoldStar Bank Data center has the computing power to process 1200,000 customers a day.

· Customer accounts are based on Client- Server Process within the GoldStar Bank. All users (the employees of GoldStar Bank) will be connected the Customer Accounts database via secure INTRANET.

· All company computers are client computers, and they will be connected to the Database (the server) via secure INTRANET.

· The Bank’s database can be accessed remotely by the companies. Currently, there are five companies accepting the GoldStar Bank Credit Card in their stores. All, these companies are connected to the GoldStar Bank Data center via Wide Area Network (WAN)

· GoldStar Bank Data center has been proving service to the employees via INTRANET, and providing service to the companies via Wide Area Network (WAN) over internet (VPN).

QUESTION 1 Develop GoldStar Bank Corporate IT Structure (System Architecture) for all employee in the NYC Building. Develop the System Architecture diagram for this case by presenting the followings.

· Local Area Network for one floor. You will be proving one LAN diagram. And, clearly indicate each components of Local Area Network.

· Network Model you would use connect all LANs the building. Indicate Network Model you use in a simple diagram.

QUESTION 2 There are five companies already accepting GoldStar credit card. And there are located at:

Clifton NJ, Albany NY, Dover DE, Philadelphia PA and Boston MA

This is how all companies are interacting with GoldStar IT system. When a customer orders a product with GoldStar Bank credit card, the payment must go thought GoldStar Bank Data center. When the payment was authorized by GoldStar Bank database, the authorization information will be sent to the company. Then the company will send the ordered item to the customer.

Develop the System Architecture diagram for this case by presenting Wide Area Network (WAN) Model and the internet connection to provide data connection to all five companies. And, present the internet connection for each company as well.

Part 2

Do the Practice and Participation section and then provide your solution here in the discussion board. Provide narrative about your findings as well.

You should be proving your solution to data that user should be entering here. In particular, provide your reasoning on the data needed to be entered and Validation Rules you would apply on each Data Entry Screens in your website. You should place the two diagrams here.  You should write your reasoning for the LAN and WAN networks.

Once you have done with the Network diagrams in Draw.IO , the export them as PNG or JPEG and the insert both in your discussion board.
