OH! MY FRIEND

The little things that make me reminisce about the day we met,

I reckon the encounter as if it was yesterday,

It started as nobody to somebody since all it took was a hi,

From acquaintance to friendship,

Time passed, stories became smiles, smiles became laughter,

Now you are my past, present, and future,

My friend.

Always remember, as you are always there, I will be there,

Like your shadow, I will be there,

From East, West, when you glance, you will see me smile,

Your always being supportive and encouraging is all that matters,

No sorrows since we are there for each other,

Delighted to have met a friend like you.

Like the tongue and teeth together,

Even if there bitter with each other sometimes,

They are there for each other just like us,

We will always be there for each other, in thick or thin,

Some say east, west home is the best, for me you are the best.
