I have outlook 365 and the process to set up recurring meetings is simple. First click on "New Meeting" add all the attendants then click on the "recurrence button" from there you choose the time, duration and recurrence pattern and you should be set. To change a meeting that has been scheduled all you have to do is go to "calendar" find the appointment you need to change then double click to open it, once is opened change the time and save it before closing.
Today attending meeting even when the attendees are located at different locations is a possibility, specially when there are more two dozens of applications that makes those virtual meetings possible. Skype, Slack, Zoom Meeting, GoToMeeting, Microsoft Teams are only a few applications available out of the many out there. "Skype" for example could have problems with buffering and delays and in some instances calls are dropped suddenly. 'slack" charges between $8 to $15 dollars per person. "Google Hangouts" the advantage of this application is that is already installed into Google tools in your Gmail account. so it provides you that extra benefit. "Zoom meeting" is one of the most popular application there is for meeting purposes. it conducts meetings, training seminars webinars and the attendees can share messages and documents with each other while using the chat tool.
I have dealt mostly with "Zoom" for my doctors appointments and seminars, but I will explore other options such as "Microsoft Teams" since is free for me and the amount of attendees is very large, specially if you want to conduct a class virtually.
