1. Building on your treatment plan from module 5, Psychiatric Interviews for Teaching: Depression, consider the scenarios at a follow up visit six weeks later.

2. For each of the three scenarios, write a brief treatment plan. P of the Psychiatric SOAP Note Template (Word). What would your next treatment decision be? Why?

Scenarios

· There is no response to the medication.

· There is a partial response to the medication. Mood has lifted but energy and motivation are still poor.

· Mood is improved but the patient has sexual side effects that interfere with quality of life.
