Personal Value Survey
From the results on my Personal Value Survey, the character traits that upheld the highest scores are Courage, Justice and Transcendence. This is legit in the sense that, in terms of justice as a value, I greatly spearhead on equality, fairness and team working. This is similar to the value of courage and transcendence whereby I embrace gratitude in every good deed from anyone and hope for the best outcomes in future.
Apparently, I have always been in support of justice since it forms a platform of a society that is civilized since without just laws, the societies tend to be unbearable and very harsh. Transcendence is a part of me too through by beliefs in God and religious backgrounds that I uphold.
Apparently, I encourage justice in so many ways through fairness, leadership and team working. Fairness comes in since it is prudent to treat everyone equally regardless of his or her race, religious differences or ethnicity. Still connected to justice, it is evident from many of my activities that my principle as a good leader, I ensure that all the activities I take part in come to excel. Additionally, justice is embraced in good team working where my principal is to perform well as a member of a certain group and embrace much loyalty. Courage is one trait I have regarding various situations in my life. It is vital to be brave and never to retreat from any attempts of threats, pain or any form of hardship. Persistence is critical to in that you always ensure that you have completed all your work in time regardless of the difficulties in a timely manner. It is also important to be authentic in everything by being honest in anything you do or say. Lastly, transcendence is a trait I uphold in each and everything. This is indicated by showing gratitude in every good deed someone does to you in that you show much appreciation. Hope is another principal that is linked to it in that you hope for the best all the time despite of the tantrums that life throws at you. Lastly, religious and spiritual beliefs on the meaning of the universe and hence shape up all my actions and character (Ackerman, 2018).
From the personal values on the survey, I would like to foster fairness in my society regardless of tribes, races or religious differences. I would wish to motivate youths to be hopeful about life and show persistence in every situation in life.
