AUTISM SPECTRUM IN CHILDREN
Literature review
According to the current investigation that has been conducted it reached into a conclusion that autism is the developmental disorder in children causing troubles with communication, social interaction and repetitive behaviors. The parents with autism children notice the symptoms in the children after three years of birth. (Howlin, 2006). The disease is caused by combinations on environment and genetic factors. Risk factors include some infections during pregnancy period like excessive alcohol. Autism disorder affects the ability of the brain to process the information causing alterations in the nerve cells and their synapses. How autism disorder occurs is not well understood. On the same note, autism spectrum children communicate by use of images, signs and even drawing pictures.
Abstracted outline
Parents with children affected by autism spectrum disorder get difficult times to communicate with the children. This also affects the children even at school giving the teachers’ difficult times to communicate. The same children have a little or no processing of the previous information’s. Their behaviors are also demanding a lot of changes. This is also caused by inappropriate means to communicate to the children so as to understand on what they are really supposed to do. Looking for the ways to communicate with the children will be a great decision. The study will use the methods like the pictures so as to attract their intentions. There will also use of gestures training on which the researchers will understand the ways to communicate to the children. The researchers will go to various hospitals and try to scrutiny on how the children communicate and what is real required to foster their communication. (Amaral et al 2011). The significance of the study therefore will come up with possible implementations that should be used so as to get a proper training to the children and enhance them improve their memory and understanding. In that regard, a study will be conducted on on how non-verbal trainings can be implemented in training children diagnosed with autism to reduce emotional hard time on parents.
Research context
The research will involve examining the parents with the children affected by the disorders, then the teachers will be also examined and their possible ways of communicating and teaching the children. This method will be helpful in that the researcher will be able to determine the possible communication ways. Finally the children with autism spectrum disorder will also be examined and then a conclusion will be drawn from the same. It will also involve taking statistics from various hospitals so as to have a Clear information on the affected children and how they should be trained.
The targeted population on the research will include autism spectrum disorder children. This is because they are the main focus on how to find the possible ways to communicate with them. The results from the research will be compiled in an excel table by the project auditors and then a recommendation will be drawn out of the research.
