1. Asking the correct questions, prayer, and self-examination, will guide individual’s decision making and lead them in situations. The ultimate mission is to treat individuals how I would want to be treated and living a Christ like life. Matthew 22:38-39 tells us that loving GOD and others are the two greatest commandments. If I can do these two things at a high level, GOD will always provide for me. The vision I want to implement is centered on counseling, sports, ministry, and athletics. This is because I really enjoy athletics and it has given me a platform to help young men at a very critical point in their lives. My virtue is connected to my strengths as a motivator and encourager. God has given me the ability to motivate individuals and help them to be successful in their plans of actions. This has assisted me as a coach and as a school counselor. My job as a school counselor allows me to motivate and encourage individuals to be their best selves. I am also a coach, which allows me to motivate youth athletes to become better athletes, children, friends, and students. Working in athletics provides me the opportunity to use may passion as my purpose. These are the two ways that we will be measured as individuals. Our character will be on full display no matter what we do in our lives. There will be no gray area and people will view it as either high or low. Production is a direct result of your character. A person of high character will do things at a high level both in the work place and in their personal lives. As I mentioned earlier, up to this point in my career athletics has been a great venue for me to make the most impact on our young people. I truly believe that God has placed me in situations because this was the best path for me to make an impact. My goal is to continue using sports and athletics to minister and encourage young individuals. My relationship with Christ will empower me to impact individuals around me in a positive way. My prayer is for the Lord to allow me the opportunity to influence the world in a positive light. I understand that my love for sports should be an overflow of our love for the One who created us to play. The intensity with which we practice and compete should reflect our passion for the One in whom “we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28) “In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, “‘for we are indeed his offspring.”

2. What are my values? I have always been a person that does not like to have my name connected to something and it come out bad. By me saying that, I have always wanted to be known and remembered as a person of great value and wanted to pursue great things. The one who wanted to pursue great things to pass on the knowledge to others, for others to follow would have the ability to do the same and better.
What vision do I want to pursue? We all at some point tell our youth to set small goals. At the same time we are not setting them up for success, we must always tell our youth to set big goals. In doing so we must add the fact of the goals being realistic. We must maintain the next five to ten years where do you see yourself goals. Those are the questions we must keep in our youths mindset, with those questions in their heads they will be able to plan out realistic big goals to be successful in life. The long-term(ten year) goal that I have is to become a sports facility coordinator. A facility where the youth can come and work on the basketball techniques and be mentored in the classroom and in society.
What is my Virtue? This is my favorite one of them all, because virtue is such a powerful word with a powerful meaning. To add as Elmore mentioned virtue means "Power" in Greece. My greatest strength is being able to connect to the youth through sports. I am able to use basketball to reach the youth in so many ways, whether it is if they are having problems at home or in school. The things that I had done incorrect in my youth have opened my eyes to guide me to understand on how to relate to some of the youth these days.
What's the Best Venue for Me? The place that I feel most comfortable is in a basketball gym. The sound of a basketball, and the being able to mentor a or many youth in the game of basketball is my comfort zone. When I am doing these things, this where I feel at my best and I feel as though I am rising against all odds. At times when I am in the gym, I feel as though I am going to achieve my goal earlier than ten years.
What Vehicle will I Employ to help me reach my Goal? During this time, I will rely heavily on my resources. My resources will be people that have already made a name for themselves in the coaching world. As I know this is not a easy career to get into and achieve, I know it is achievable and can be accomplished. By my leaning on those who have already achieved this goal, just shows what I was saying earlier about passing knowledge to the youth to make them better.
