Benefits Manager

Job Summary

The Benefits Manager will play a significant role in cultivating the benefits department. The primary responsibilities will be to educate staff and the management team on the benefits provided by the company. Meanwhile, you will attract top talent to fill the roles of the benefits department. All aspects of the benefits department will align with the goals and strategies of Human Resources and the company. All while providing a safe, comfortable work environment.

Job Task

· The Benefits Manager will work closely with the management team and HR to ensure all company goals are met.

· Manage, cultivate, execute, oversee, and provides benefit programs policies and procedures.

· Remain current with up-to-date trends related to best practices for the company and provide feedback to HR, executives, and above.

· Create a program for annual open enrollment as to how the company will roll out programs to employees.

· Research benefit options through various programs, create and develop programs.

· Benefits programs include leave policy, health benefits including life, health, disability insurance, FMLA USERRA, MFLA, STD, LTD, COBRA, AFLAC, 401K, and Stock Options.

· Ensure Benefits meets employer need and obey all legal obligations of Local, state, and federal laws while enforcing requirements.

· Establish and maintain a working relationship with all outside vendors while seeking advice.

· Analyze data to ensure meeting company goals and strategies.

· Assist staff with training, counseling, and employee-related benefits, including policy procedures and any complaints and proper investigations.

· Manage staff by conducting performance reviews, implement programs for improvement.

· Ensure benefits are communicated to all company employees with a clear understanding and the highest customer service level.

· Maintain records for all employees in your department as information remain confidential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Four (4) year degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources or HR Benefits.

· Ten (10) years of benefits experience to include five (5) years of management experience.

· Excellent Management skills with a proven record.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· In-Depth knowledge of all Local, State and Federal Laws to include HIPPA, COBRA HCR Act, and ERISA.

· Experience in communication with high-level executives.

· Proficient in creating and analyzing reports.

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Production Worker

Job Summary

Warehouse production work is responsible for operating machinery in the factory and preparing products for distribution. In addition, ensuring all machinery runs smoothly assists with the packing and shipments of products.

Job Description

· Operates equipment in the factory and preparing items for distribution.

· Knowledge of machines and tools needed for production.

· Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production.

· Start machines, inspect the workplace for defects to ensure devices are working correctly.

· Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses.

· Assembling and checking products, ensuring machinery runs smoothly.

· Assist in the packaging and shipment of items.

· Carry out essential quality and testing of products.

I did not combine the Administrative Assistance and the production worker based on the job description and responsibilities. According to the market pay, the range is too far to combine pay grades. The Operations Analyst and Benefits Manager are in the same paygrades because their jobs both have many responsibilities and impact the company.
