The final assignment for this course is a Final Project. The purpose of the Final Project is to create a formal Poster Presentation. You will culminate the learning achieved in the course by interpreting research and preparing a poster for a formal presentation, which includes dissecting a piece of research and portraying it in a poster appropriate for conference presentation.  The Final Project  represents 20% of the overall course grade.

Focus of the Final Project

For this final project, you will select one of the article choices listed below and create a formal poster for a presentation. While poster presentations are generally created in large format, for the purposes of this class, you do not need to find a large-format program in which to create the presentation. Instead, you may use up to four pages of 8 ½ x 11 paper (such as in Word Document or PowerPoint) to create the sections for your presentation. Examples are included below for how the four pages would fit together and be presented on a poster. You can create them separately but please keep them in order. If you own Publisher, this is an acceptable software tool that has large format options.
