M-BA Capstone Finance Simulation
1. Simulation: Summarize your rationale for decisions made for the current (practice) round. Do this for four different items on the performance analysis template. Each member of the team should analyze a minimum of four different line items for both budget to actual and actual to peer.
2. Textbook Concepts: Summarize your understanding of the following concepts found in the reading for the current week (do not use glossary definitions; write your own definitions from the reading) for the following chapters:

· Market share and market growth rate analysis (simulation uses this)

· Qualities of tactics
· Value added concept
· Relationship of tactics to strategic goals (simulation uses this)
· Empowerment of functional personnel

· Incentive plans
· Functional tactics in: production/operations; marketing; accounting and finance; research and development; human resources (simulation uses this)
3. Simulation Guide
· Explain how R&D and the perceptual map are used in the management of the company and in the week-to-week decision process.
