Physician care services is an organization that was founded in January 1, 2000. This organization was established by three physicians where each of them owns 20% of the organization and a fourth physician who owns 40% of the organization. Currently, this organization offers its services in two locations, that is the alpha and beta in jasper. This organization is well established and the records that concerns its operations are well kept, (Hollingsworth, 2008).
This ensures that there is an improved performance in the organization and hence the organization has established favorable policies which enhance the smooth running of the organization. The organization has established a non-emergent unit which is used in offering treatment of emergence disease cases.
In order to evaluate the organizations productivity, there are various metrics that I will use. A metric refers to a system or a standard of measurement. One of the best measures to use is the emergency preparedness of this organization. This can be enhanced through ensuring that all the facilities of this organization are well organized. Also, this organization keeps records on the number of patients that it attends to. These patients give a feedback on their satisfaction and therefore this can be used as a metric in measuring how the progress of the hospital and the productivity of the hospital. If many patients were satisfied, then it means that the organization’s productivity is high, (Briggs & O'Brien, 2001).
There are various ways in which these metrics will be used in evaluating the productivity of the organization. When it comes to the resource allocation, a Centre with more patients will be allocated more resources compared to a Centre that has less patients. The resources allocated will be proportional to the number of patients attending that particular hospital. Since each Centre uses the same price unit, therefore it means that a center that makes more profit will be termed as the most progressive. Also, the punctuality and the motivation of the employees is another factor that will be used in evaluating the productivity of this organization. If the reports indicate well motivated and performing employees, then this will be rated as contributive factor towards the success of this organization.
In achieving the goals of this organization, there are various aspects that will have to be put into consideration. These aspects include organization and the management of these organizations, private retail clients and the occupational health clients. Each of them will be very crucial enhancing the success of this organization and therefore this will play a major role in helping boost the operations of the organization. The patient feedback and immediate action to the areas of concern and the issues that they raise will be very crucial in helping boost the performance of the organization.
