Compare and contrast two published cases of collaboration between parents/community members and educators. Use two similar cases about some form of collaboration that schools used to improve school-parent or school-community relations. Be sure to focus your research efforts on the following:

How did collaborative characteristics such as mutual respect, tolerance, acceptance, commitment, courage, sharing, and teaming between principals-supervisors, teachers, and parents/community members affect the school atmosphere? How did collaborative characteristics affect student success? How did collaborative characteristics affect relationships in the community?
