5-2 Final Project Milestone Two: Research Questions and References

Negligence by coaches and leagues on athlete injuries is a mistake that has resulted in more pain for victims leading to serious injuries. Some players are forced to play with injuries due to their reliance on fans and even family in competitions, which affects their health, especially physical. The negligence is conducted due to abandonment of duties by coaches and leagues that do not provide proper facilities such as medical cover and emergency departments (Murray, 2014). The coaches are obligated to observe the cases players undergo during their duties and provide solutions through engagement with medical officers of the team or medical facility during the games.

The coaches should provide guidelines for recovery and inquire from the players when they are fit and ready to battle again in the games hence creating a stable and risk-free team. The leagues should improve the standards of providing essential services and maintenance of fields during games to minimize players' hurt (Miller, 2018). The medical officers should be introduced with a favourable ratio to players and the ability to identify complications experienced during the games. Coaches should encourage players to report any difficulties undertaken on physical and mental standards to ensure proper attention is received to deal with injuries or knocks.

Immediate medical attention improves players' fitness and protects them against injuries that keep them fit and ready to battle. External pressure for players to perform leads to performance while injured, which establishes deep injuries affecting their fitness and ability to sustain themselves in games. Coaches and other social supporters should minimize pressure on teens and players to perform regardless of their conditions since they would be affected immensely (Kroshus et al., 2015). The leagues should improvise methods that measure players' fitness levels and provide a basis that qualifies an individual to perform at certain games. The health coverage would formulate a policy that protects the players from performing under injuries and pain. The players might not report the cases; hence compulsory health check-up by leagues would establish their conditions and decide whether they are fit or unfit for games.
