Students choose a topic of interest for a quantitative study.

Using searching skills, search the databases for a quantitative research study.

Write a critique of the research study using the guidelines below.

Students choose or assign “roles” for the group paper:

Submit the assigned paper and a copy of the research study to the instructor.

The paper will have four parts, length of paper is 5 to 7 pages (body of paper). References are three journal articles in nursing and nursing and/or medical organization websites. The paper is to written in 7th edition APA manual for a student paper format: (See 7th edition APA manual for formatting these sections) below.

Introduction

· Cite the study using APA format.

· Describe the roles of each student and what they contributed to the assignment.

· Describe the search description including inclusion and exclusion criteria, key words, and databases searched.

· How does the author describe the purpose of the research study?

Body—Answer the following critique questions, giving the rationale for each question using individual APA headings:
