Analyze steps 3 and 4 of MAPP process when dealing with your selected nature disaster.

The third and the fourth steps in MAPP process are, assessing the health status of the community and the fourth is assessing the change forces. Gathering of data that is comprehensive regarding a community is crucial to understand the flooding status alongside being able to identify the root causes of the flooding that impacts the public health system of the locals as well as the community. Every assessment yields crucial data for enhancing the community health. Fourth step involves the assessment of the flood hazard in addition to mapping which are utilized in identifying the regions that are at a flooding risk, as well as consequently improving the management of flood risk plus the preparedness of a disaster. The mapping of the floods tends to be very crucial for significant use of land planning within areas that are prone to floods. The assessment of the flood impact plus the risk management are essential in helping developments which tend to have waterways that are traversing via or located adjacent to a particular site. The flooding has high probabilities of impacting significantly the site which is based on the catchment models in existence, the hydrologic studies plus observed characteristics of flood (Adnan, et.al, 2021).

Promoting collaboration

Collaboration is of great significance to the system of health care due to the fact that it aids in spurring teamwork that is collaborative. Collaboration that is well-coordinated over the medical professions is capable of permitting a more comprehensive, patient care that is cost-effective and population based plus focusing on promotion of health and preventing diseases, which is crucial in meeting the healthcare challenges that are ongoing. Collaboration can be promoted through defining the collaborative approach to a health care. A team that is collaborative is described as a clinicians group that differs from other professions sharing patients plus patient care objectives. Staff members are supposed to recognize that this team approach that is collaborative tends to be unique in comparison to different approaches whereby the caregivers operate independently without any input from different Practitioners

The roles of every member of a team can be delegated, to have the job roles respected. Health professionals education is greatly separated through professionalism, hence having the knowledge of a particular member of staff limited tends to have the skillset if a different one and possibly causing complexities later. It becomes very crucial to have the roles defined and the manner in which all will help one another to deal with the challenges that are in existence plaguing the patients. Every staff member is supposed to be aware that due to available professional diversity within a team, differences in conflicts and opinions are inevitable and also help in continued collaboration growth (Erwin, et.al, 2017).

Methods for encouraging physicians

Most of the physicians tend to experience feelings if being overwhelmed, frustrated as well as threatened with the available changes, and this is obviously starting to take a toll on the attitudes as well as perspectives of the physicians regarding care. Having the physician engagement enhanced basically needs a process that is multistep one that comprises of making an effort to have better understanding of their own world, it is also necessary to encourage opportunities for their participation as well as input within care design, provision of education, guidance, support in addition to training, it is also important to make attempts and have them recognized as well as thanked for the duties they carry out. They can also be motivated through having the physicians connected with their own meaning at a place of work. When holding meetings, they can be started with stories that are great related to experiences of the patients, which is capable of reconnecting the physicians with the main essence of their tasks. It is also important that the voices belonging to the physicians are heard within the executive suites. Providing them with a pathway the air their opinions as well as have the decisions influenced is of paramount importance in getting them encouraged.

Design quality initiatives that reduce organizational risk and support patient safety.

There is a reason behind wanting to have the healthcare systems redesigned in order to improve patient safety in addition to the essence of wanting to have operational efficiency achieved. As a result, healthcare institutions are making attempts to have their risks plus quality activities realigned. For instance, some of the initiatives involves the larger institutions merging their quality, risk and safety functions into a single department, institute or a program. Despite the fact various people might be held accountable for each section, they practically report to one leader within the hierarchy of a company. The institutions that are smaller, the quality alongside risk managers are effectively coordinating their efforts where they get to overlap and ensure enhanced alignment of initiatives related to patient safety plus utilization of resources that are limited. There is also the benefit that is associated with utilizing the legal protections that have been granted by the 2005 Act of Patient Safety and Quality Management in addition to the state protections that are available (Hargett, et.al, 2017).
