I. Introduction
II. Thesis
Teachers should use differentiated instruction to provide cultural relevant teaching to students with diversity backgrounds.
III. Rationale for the Thesis Statement
Differentiated Instruction (DI) can help educators create cultural relevant material
that empowers students academically and it develop their possibilities in numerous
territories that incorporates social, enthusiastic, and physical fields through trim
students own particular capacities, abilities, dialects, and practices that are important
the classroom (Gibson, 2012). When teachers incorporate learning that is culturally
relevant to diverse students, it allows students to pride and ownership in their
learning.
IV. Three Arenas of Child Advocacy
A. Personal advocacy is when a teacher expresses their own observations and
thoughts to the families of students (Feeney, Galper, & Seefeldt, 2009, p 18.1).
1. During this arena, teachers can use documentation to support their
observation of a student. Teachers that use personal advocacy like to
ensure families their child is being treated fairly, and is receiving the same
high-quality education as all of the other students (Lung-Amam, Harwood,
Sandoval, & Sen, 2015).

B. The public policy advocacy is the arena that influence public policies and
practices so that they are more responsive to problem impacting a large
number of children (Feeney, Galper, & Seefeldt, 2009).
1. These advocates identify the complexities of the policies in place for
schools. They advocate to improve the quality of life for students while
ensuring all students are receiving the very best education they can receive
(NAEYC, n.d.).
C. The private-sector advocacy is the arena that advocates change within private-
sector policies and practices to assist children and their families (Feeney,
Galper, & Seefeldt, 2009).
1. These advocates focus on developing guidelines that supports child
development in school as well as the local community
D. Two Components of my Strategic Plan
A. My goal is to ensure that my classroom and my teaching methods are well
thought out to ensure that my students get the best education possible.
B. I have a vison to make sure the line of communication is always open with
families of my students to ensure they have are aware of the type of
teaching and learning methods take place in my classroom.

OUTLINE 4
It is essential that teachers create a classroom that is inviting to all students. With the
support of the community and its advocates, the goal of providing all students a high-
quality education will be met.
