This week, you are reading Chapters 6, 10, and 15, so we want to focus on investigating poems carefully. I would like for you to select two poems from Chapter 15 by two different authors. You want to consider the poem in terms of ideas such as imagery, tone, figures of speech, and other specific elements mentioned in your reading.

You will be addressing how does the poet create meaning in the poem? And how do you interpret the poem in line with what you think the writer is attempting to say.
